Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a Indian actor, singer-songwriter and musician. She is mainly involved in Tamil and Malayalam movies. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam, and her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah has been raised in a Tamil Nadu Anglo-Indian family. Her father is an Madras High Court lawyer. Her younger sister is a Belgian research assistant who is employed in Leuven. Jeremiah was born near Chennai she went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano at the age of eight. Andrea was a huge geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars when she was 10. This group formed her singing and music composition career. Additionally, she worked as a theatre performer in college. She was the President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career with Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva in a Leo coffee ad in 2006. She also acted in a television show that aired on Podhigai. Her performances have been all over India. There was a brief appearance on the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). She sang a song for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to join his female leads for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani the wife who's husband is in the middle of an extramarital affair. Andrea was picked to play the role after Simran and Tabu, two actresses who were approached by the producers. The film came out in early 2010. The film was released in early 2010. in the film of Venkat Mankatha in the year 2011, that starred several actors. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic film from 2013.
