Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered by many to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games as well as the first gymnast to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They were raised in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone became interested in gymnastics when she was just six when she took a field trip for day care to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years under supervision of instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded a gold medal in the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the elite level of gymnastics in the year the year 2011. Within less than two years, she was the top athlete in her field. The thing that set Biles out was her consistency her flamboyant attitude as well as the level of difficulty she incorporated into her workout routines for every event - vault, uneven bars balance beam and floor workout.
